Garden Furniture Covers

posted by The Garden Furniture Centre | Wednesday, November 04, 2009

Whilst some people are lucky enough to have room, perhaps in a shed or garage, to store their garden furniture over the winter, most of us need to leave it in situ to face the elements. This can reduce the lifetime of your furniture, so the best advice is to shelter it from the harshest weather using strong and water resistant material.

Cushions, however, should always be removed and stored indoors to prevent damp and mould.

If at all possible, it is best to treat your teak furniture before wrapping it up for the winter. Apply a coat of teak oil and allow it to dry thoroughly. Then, to minimise the affects of months of rain, snow and freezing temperatures, protect your investment with garden furniture covers.

Our garden furniture covers are hard-wearing and water/UV resistant, manufactured from 260g polyester which is extremely durable. The seams are all taped for extra strength, and they are designed to fit all combinations of furniture, whether a single seat or full patio dining set. Our garden furniture covers are complete with pull-ties, which will hold the covers securely in place even in the strongest winds.
And when spring finally comes around again, our garden furniture covers can be removed and easily stored until you need them in the autumn.
